Our Storm Chasing Tours

Our tours, starting and ending in Denver, take you on an adventure across the Great Plains of the USA in search of severe storms. We travel in luxurious SUV’s, with a maximum of four people per car, providing you with a great view and a comfortable experience.

Our experienced team members have been chasing storms in the USA for years, and that experience is a vital ingredient to our success.

Accommodation

All accommodation across the tour, from the day we collect you to the day we drop you back to the airport.

Transportation

We only use large SUV's so everyone has a comfortable ride with a window view and space to relax. We also stock up on drinking water for each car daily.

Limited Group Size

We only run smaller group tours with a maximum of 4 people per vehicle for a more comfortable & intimate experience.

Safety

Safety is important and is top of our priority list.

We want to ensure you have a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Safety is always our top priority, and with our great track record of getting our groups on to mesmerising tornadic storms, we also go the extra mile to provide you with the best vantage points in our comfortable SUVs. Our intimate groups are designed to create a warm and interactive atmosphere, making your tour truly special.

It’s not just the storm-chasing experience. The tours have a great road trip vibe. As we travel through the Great Plains, we’ll visit national parks and other attractions on down days, stop at authentic restaurants and diners, and stay in comfortable hotels in real American towns and cities every night. The atmosphere of sharing this amazing experience with a group of like-minded travellers is why many of our guests join us year after year.

Experience is key to a successful storm-chasing tour. Knowing the area and the roads, having forecasting skills, and understanding the behaviour of severe storms is vital to both safety and placement for the best vantage points. Our team are all seasoned chasers, with a great track record and dozens of years of experience between them.

We’ve been chasing stateside for over 15 years now, and as well as the chasing experience, that built-up local knowledge is equally important when it comes to hotels, places to eat and things to do. We love sharing all of that knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for storms and storm chasing with our guests, and that’s one of the reasons so many rebook.

I've only chased once so far with Netweather but even before the tour was done, I'd already booked up for the following season. Despite what turned out to be a poor and very challenging season overall (weather is a very fickle mistress), Netweather, led by the excellent Paul Botten, still managed to get us up close and personal to every storm there was where other tour companies I've chased with were unsuccessful. As well as that, the professionalism is matched by a very relaxed and informal attitude which this chaser loved and is very much looking forward to experiencing again.

Incredible Knowledge

Chose Netweather/Weather Holidays primarily because they are UK based, which made me feel more ‘at home’!
